Workflow Request and Tracking™

The Workflow Request and Tracking™ solution (WRT) from Workflow Informatics Corp is a complete request, fulfillment, and tracking system built for drug discovery workflows. WRT provides LIMS-like sample tracking capabilities for a fraction of the cost of traditional LIMS. WRT reduces costly errors in task workflows through automation and status tracking.

WRT provides a simple interface for the complete request management lifecycle:

• Users create task requests based on configurable forms and workflows, and assign the tasks across internal resources, assays, or even CRO vendors.
• Reports track the request progress through assigned workflow, which can be used out-of-the-box or customized based on your specific lab needs. Notifications and updates can be provided via email.
• Tasks can be accepted, fulfilled, and updated by assigned team members.

WRT is designed to be integrated with your existing lab data systems (ELN, Assay Data Management, Sample Inventory…) as well as lab equipment (liquid handling, tub stores, etc.).

If preferred, WRT can also provide a complete inventory management system with its own simple and effective data schema. WRT can handle the creation and storage of plate maps and containers.

Under the Hood
WRT is not a SaaS platform, but is instead configured and deployed for your specific environment. Versions have been developed in both Python and Pipeline Pilot, with a simple and effective PostgreSQL database backend, all of which can be deployed locally or to your AWS environment. Access and group permissions are built-in and can be integrated with your IAM policies and tools.
